Tyler Bay is a quaint little town on a small island north of Australia. It holds only 345 residents, but the number changes all the time when the tourists come in to visit.
Amongst the people in this town, there are a select few who are popular in their own right. Some own the popular cafes or restaurants, others run clubs. While some work with the tourists, and are great at their job. Whoever they are, the townspeople, and the tourists alike, know who they are. This is the whole reason for them coming back each year or season.
But there are many things happening that those tourists don’t see. Behind closed doors though there are lies and deceit. What appear to be happy families are really breaking apart from affairs. Happy couples are not as happy as they look, always wondering what the other half is up to. Students already following in their parents footsteps are also suspicious of their partners. Yet somehow they manage to keep up the charade for all the tourists.

Stargate SG-1 - Tau’ri - Carolyn Lam.
Stargate Command’s chief medical officer, Dr. Carolyn Lam is a civilian given the position by General Jack O’Neill.
Lam is General Hank Landry’s daughter, and arrived on the base soon after he took command. Their relationship has been strained for years, and she has implied that she might have turned down the job had she been told that Landry would be in charge.
Carolyn maintains a relationship with her mother, Kim Lam, from whom the General is separated. As a child her father was often gone, often unable to tell her and her mother about what he was doing, because of his line of work. It’s something that drove a wedge between them from a young age, and that Carolyn is only now beginning to understand, now that she herself works at a top-secret government facility.
After serving with him for two years, Carolyn’s relationship with her father was markedly improved.
Carolyn Lam has been in the episodes: “Avalon II”, “Origin”, “The Ties That Bind”, “The Powers That Be”, “Babylon”, “Prototype”, “The Fourth Horseman I”, “The Fourth Horseman II”, “Ripple Effect”, “Talion”, and “Family Ties”. Carolyn Lam is played by Lexa Doig.
